The Southern California chain will bring its fresh, made-to-order Mexican cuisine to the baseball stadium
Fans of the Anaheim Angels will be given a special treat on Opening Day with the launch of a local favorite, Chronic Tacos, which will open a new location at Angels Stadium. The Mexican food restaurant chain will be located inside Angel Stadium in section 240 at the Field Terrace Level.
“Chronic Tacos and the Angels are a great fit,” said Chronic Tacos Enterprises’ founder Randy Wyner. “Both are SoCal teams that Californians support with enthusiasm and both have a long history of success and giving back to community. We’re basically two locals joining together for the good of our mutual fans.”
A SoCal favorite, the opening of Chronic Tacos in Angel Stadium is another addition to the pool of concession stand changes taking place in the stadium. The fast food Mexican grill will replace the Angelitos food stand. Not only will Chronic Tacos serve its signature tacos, burritos and bowls, but the food stand will also offer new products like Chronic Park Nachos and Chronic Park Fries, available exclusively at Angel Stadium.
“The latest concession changes come as Angel Stadium continues to revamp its food offerings to cater to a number of fan demands. Coming this year are bigger nachos, premium burgers, more Mexican dishes, house-made pretzels and pizza by the slice,” said David Lippan, Aramark’s assistant general manager. Aramark Sports and Entertainment is the concessions manager at Angels Stadium.
Founded in 2001 by Daniel Biello and Randall Wyner, Chronic Tacos continues to create delicious Mexican food with its new location at Angel Stadium. While the Anaheim Angels baseball team strives to make an impression on Opening Day, the local restaurant chain will make its debut to Anaheim baseball fans as well.
The Angels are scheduled to play their 2012 Opening Day game against the Kansas City Royals on Friday, April 6 at 7:05 p.m. in Angel Stadium.
